How WSF Connect collects, uses and protects your information across the portal and the public site.

Information we collect
When your church registers you as a member or account holder, we may hold your name, email address, phone number, gender, home address, cell center/zone/area assignment, and attendance records. If you create a portal login, we also store your username, hashed password, and role/permission assignments.
How we use your information
Your information is used to coordinate cell meetings, record attendance, communicate announcements and reminders (by email or SMS), generate reports for leadership, and support account sign-in and password recovery. We do not sell or rent member information to third parties.
Who can see your information
Access is role-based: center, zonal and area leaders can see the members under their oversight, and church administrators can see church-wide records. Documents shared through the portal are only sent to the recipients you select.
How we protect your information
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, never in plain text. Access to administrative functions requires authentication, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log. Cell Center addresses and leader contact details shown on the public Center Locator are only revealed after verifying a one-time access code — see below.
Data retention
Member and attendance records are retained for as long as you remain associated with the church, to maintain an accurate ministry history. You may ask your church administrator to correct or remove your information at any time, subject to any records the church is required to keep.
Public Center Locator access
Cell Center addresses, Cell Minister names and phone numbers are personal information. To prevent misuse, this information is only shown to visitors who verify a one-time access code sent to their email address.
When you request or verify an access code on the Center Locator page, we record the email address you provided, your IP address, and the date and time of the request. This activity is monitored to detect and prevent abuse of cell center contact details. The Center Locator also uses your device's location (with your permission) only to find cell centers near you — your location is not stored.
Text Messaging Program
When you opt in to WSF Connect text messages during account registration, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent. We use this information solely to send the messages you signed up for — account notifications and attendance reminders.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. For assistance, contact support@wsfconnect.com or (240) XXX-XXXX.
Any service providers that help us deliver these messages (such as our SMS provider) may process your number only to send the messages on our behalf. Mobile opt-in and consent data are excluded from any sharing for marketing purposes.
Cookies
The portal uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
